Be very careful.You will not receive the Bugatti Toaster that you order from "LOOKFANTASTIC", but a cheapy version made by VilliWare.Yes OK you can return it, but what a waste of time.The actual Bugatti Toaster is something else, as I already own Chrome Version purchased from Amazon directly.

When we received a cheap VilliWare toaster instead of the Bugatti we ordered (at £35 instead of £170 - the only reason for purchase. A bargain that seemed too good to be true - and which was) we thought it a genuine mistake. Then I read the reviews of this product and saw that the exact same thing had happened to another customer; they received a VilliWare toaster instead of the Bugatti, and realised we had been conned. I see their ploy - send a cheap and nasty toaster instead of the unbelievable bargain customers had paid for, and a minority will not be bothered sending it back and so their ploy will have worked and they'll have shifted a few cheap toasters that otherwise no one would buy. Now I have to go through the bother of sending this thing back and asking for the product we paid for, which I'm losing hope of getting as I see the product price has now escalated by £100. I used to trust Amazon 100% but that has now changed irrevocably. We are yet to see whether we will ever receive the product we paid for.

Ok...so it's an expensive toaster, let's be honest.... but it works really well!!!It's usually a case of form-over-function with lots of these things and i thought that this might be the case with the Bugatti toaster but not so. The various toasting levels work well, are consistent and the whole slice gets toasted.If you're a lover of huge chunky doorsteps then you may have to compromise and use slightly smaller, thinner slices. I think that most bread on the continent is the small square type that this toaster is designed for.We've gone through so many toasters that have either fallen apart or have just not worked well. We kind of learnt to live with a huge commercial type to get the kids sorted in the morning but even that have so many downsides and never gave the same result twice.We've been using the Volo now for about 2 months and can't complain at all. It looks good and the 'self' eject mechanism is genius. if you like your toast to be 'right' and fed up with moaning about your current toaster then you might want to give this a look.
